Education and Affiliations

Meg Woodard, RD received her BS Degree in Nutrition from California State Polytechnic University Pomona and completed her clinical training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She has over 15 years of experience as a registered dietitian and is a member of the American Dietetic Association (ADA), California Dietetic Association, San Diego Dietetic Association and the Food and Culinary Professionals Practice group of the ADA. Meg has had professional media training and is a Registered ServSafe Instructor and Proctor for the National Restaurant Association. She also completed culinary training through the USPCA.

About Meg

Meg has over 20 years of experience in nutrition and food industries. She has extensive experience in nutrition counseling, public speaking and writing. She has also made numerous media appearances on major television stations in California and Nevada as well as radio and print interviews.  Meg has helped hundreds of clients reach their healthy weight goals and enjoys working with both adults and children.  She worked as Corporte Dietitian for both Lucky Stores and Albertsons Supermarkets for several years where she developed a very successful nutrition education program for consumers. Meg also owned her own personal chef business where she combined her love of cooking with her nutrition background to create delicious healthy meals for busy families, couples and executives. She also has several years of experience teaching cooking classes.  Meg's goal and passion is to educate clients and fuel them with realistic, "smart eating solutions for life".
